Hi @tcgaming360

Try a full power refresh and check if that resolves the problem.

Here's the procedure:

a). Disconnect the charger (if connected) and then remove the main battery from the laptop.

b). Disassemble the laptop and disconnect the RTC coin cell battery from the motherboard.

Here's the maintenance and service guide for the laptop that will help as you have to remove the motherboard to do this. Go to p.81 to view the procedure to remove/replace the RTC coin cell battery.

When the battery has been removed, measure its voltage. If it is <2.5VDC or if the battery is >5 years old, replace it. The battery spare part number is at the top of p.81. Search online for 646132-001 to find suppliers that suit you best.

c). Reconnect the RTC battery, reassemble the laptop, reinsert the main battery, reconnect the charger and check if the laptop turns on OK.

If it does there may be a message saying that the date and time are incorrect. This is normal as the BIOS has been reset back to its factory default settings. Once the date and time have been adjusted, the message won't appear the next time that the laptop is started. Also any user definable BIOS settings, that were changed by you to suit whatever operating requirements you had will have to be changed back again as well.
