I see black lines from the right bottom fading all the way to left bot

These horizontal black lines appeared on my TV (50 inch,4K) which is like maybe 2 years old.

I tried different HDMI cables thinking that could be faulty, and then also tried factory reset and software update, nothing seems to be working.

What could be the issue here ?

Options

It is an LCD screen or flat flex cable connector fault. Not too much chance of fixing it and if it is fixed it won't be a reliable repair.
