Backlight only after screen and battery replacement

Hi. Just replaced my screen and battery for an iPad Air 4. Plugged in to my Mac and it is not recognizing. Also, when I try to power on, you can see that the backlight is working, and when I tap on the screen I can also see a spot or 2 of light in the mid/lower right corner of the tablet, but no image. Any ideas/help are much appreciated.
