MacBook Pro 2017 shuts down when back panel is reinstalled

macbook Pro immediately shuts down when back panel is reinstalled. Computer starts up just fine without the back panel off but when I reinstall it, it shuts down immediately.

Clearly something is not correctly mounted!

What was your reason for opening the system? I would retraces my steps double checking what I did and the screws I used.
