No network after screen replacement on S20 FE 5G

I replaced my screen with the frame, but after I was done I had no service. After some research I found out that I had bought a new screen for a SM-G780F and not SM-G781B that it should. Everything else is working great. Could it be that the wrong screen is causing the issue? Is the antennas somehow built in with the frame? I have opened the phone up and gone trough my work, and everything seems to be where it´s suppose to be.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi @fredrik56686

Don't know the phone but according to this parts supplier the antenna modules used, one is applicable to both models (GH96-13998A), and the other only to the 5G model (GH97-25615A).

Maybe worth checking again and check if they're both connected OK

Thanks for your answer. I´ve only replaced the screen and frame and not the actual antenna. I opened up the phone to check the connectors and they are connected properly. Maybe the antenna itself got damaged when i originally droped the phone.

Just suggested the antenna modules as the LCD display + digitizer used in the SM-G781B and the SM-G780F have the same Samsung part number so presumably they're the same.

Not so if you purchased the complete display assembly. For some reason the part numbers are different

Here's just one example for the Cloud Lavender model complete display assembly

SM-G781B and SM-G780F
