Vertical line in qn90a ads

my TV appeared a line shortly after the end of the 1 year warranty, I disassembled the TV, removed it and put the flats on, at first I thought it was black but it turned dark green and after blue, I turned it on without the main flat cable for the screen, the screen is missing image but with clear parts of the LED and the line disappeared without the cable flat, what can I do now? I circled in the photo the cable I tested without, sorry for English, I used a translator.

@mbn99 we really would need to see what this line looked like. A single thing line is not caused by a bad T-con board but it is almost always caused by a TAB error.

This happens when the Bond that holds the very thin ribbon cable that connect to the top of the panel, fails.

Apply some pressure on the TAB that corresponds with where the line is on your screen. See if that changes anything. The attached images are is just an example of what to look for.

Be careful with those boards and those cables. They are very frail and cannot be replaced by the common DIY'er like us :-)

@mbn99 it makes sense that the line would not be there with the signal cable disconnected. The line would come from a dataline that gets' "combined" by the T-con board. No signal cable==>no data==>. I have not seen a single line being caused by a bad T-con board. However, anything is possible :-) How wide was this line?

@oldturkey03

I have pressed the flat cable close to the line several times but there was no change...

@mbn99 that sure looks like a TAB error. I know it is hard to get to those but can you try to get a really good picture of that TAB?

by

@oldturkey03 have to open it again, I've already assembled it, as it was the first time I took apart a TV I had a little difficulty, mainly because it's big (65 inch), if it helps I'll do it again but in a few hours. I can access the TAB closest to the line with my fingers just by opening the bottom with the TV standing upright, but to take a photo I would have to lay it down again and remove everything.
