95 nissan ks24e after driving for a while switch engine off try to crank it drags real bad and want crank let it cool for a while it will drag but it will crank
Things I have done and changed:
New battery,cables and ends,ck timing chain slack that is fine and ck the timing that ok. Don't no what elks to do anyone have something I can try

@donaldduckowens it looks like you are giving us your engine model :-) I is possible that this is an engine problem, but I would suggest that you check your starter. It is possible that this is a wore out start and it may just draw to many amps. Remember starters do not need to be replaced but can be rebuild. Either or, check the starter first. Oh yeah, please let us know your vehicle year and model.

Have you checked the engine at all? How does it crank over when you pull the plugs? How well does it run/perform once it's started? I recommend a compression check as well as a leakdown test. Check your spark plug face and see how the engine burns its fuel.
Have you checked the voltage on the battery after the engine has stopped?
I realize that you have replaced the battery but if there's a problem with the alternator or the voltage regulator it may be that the battery isn't being recharged properly whilst driving and/or that it is "aiding" the alternator in supplying power to the ignition circuit whilst the engine is running.
With the engine running, check that there's 13.8V-14.5V DC on the battery terminals. If the voltage measurement is outside of these parameters there's a problem with either the alternator or the voltage regulator
Just something to eliminate if it isn't cranking properly but it does start.
