iPad Air 5 screen replacement / apple pencil performance

Hello guys,

Just a quick question. I've noticed reports of the iPad pro 3 and onwards having a calibration/serialization chip for the apple pencil and a screen replacement seems to degrade the pencil's accuracy.

Does the same occur on the air? I've already ordered a replacement since I need it either way, but it would be cool to know.

Bonus question. Anyone know where I could buy spare double sided adhesive? I'm thinking 3M might have e something.

If nobody has an answer, I should be able to confirm next Wednesday when I swap the display.

I just did the replacement. Sadly, replacing the screen gives you the infamous wavy lines while doing a straight line across the diagonal of the screen with the apple pencil.

This is especially noticeable if you're doing slow lines with no stabilization. The replacement screen works perfect in all other aspects.
