The SSD can be replaced by removing the back cover and replacing it with a compatible M.2 NVMe 2230 SSD. As long as it is M.2 NVMe, and 2230 (the physical size) I expect it to work in the Surface Pro 9 as this was a key feature allowing the SSD to be replaced with ease.
The memory (RAM) is not user-replaceable.
