What dongles/cables do the techs at the Genius Bar use?

I'm impressed that the Genius Bar techs always have the right cables to troubleshoot and device. I was hoping I could just buy a Mac technician cable bundle but don't see anything like that for sale anywhere. I need to support a range of Macs from 2012 iMacs to current MacBooks and minis.

Nothing that magical:

For Mac’s - They have have a selection of AC power cords as needed for the given country. A set of needed chargers for the laptops. A Thunderbolt & USB-C cable set. An Ethernet cable as well as a USB-C to Ethernet dongle if they don’t have WiFI for systems which don’t offer Ethernet (most shops have a few WiFI AP’s both public and private).

The only other thing most have is a Thunderbolt/USB-C drive which holds OS installers and some older diagnostics.

For iPhones - Chargers as needed and Lightning and USB-C cables

I only work on Mac’s and that’s what I have setup

Thanks Dan! I just ordered a 10-pack of USB thumb drives to make bootable installers. This should make it easier to reset my old devices to factory condition to prepare for sale, recycling, new user.

@daveg58288 - for most thumb drives are what I recommend as being the easier and cheaper! Having a collection all setup makes repairs much easier!
