@alexhedden the component to the left (red rectangle ) is reference designator FL11 which is actually a ferrite bead (coil). The red X component is reference designator C25.

Reference designator FL11 is a 120 Ohm 210 mA ferrite bead in a 1005 package

Reference designator C25 is a 56pF 5% 16V capacitor in a 1005 package.

These components should be readily available at places like Mouser.com or Digikey.com (my choices) as well as many other places.

Is the ferrite bead a required component?

by

I’m assuming since my battery percentage goes all over the place, it has something to do with that?

@alexhedden FL11 has been known to be bridge, however, I always advise against this. Apple maybe greedy and paranoid but they are not dumb :-) Why use a component if it is not required? Yes, those components are all part of that circuitry.
