My remote is working fine but LCD is not responding to it.
Remote is working fine but LCD is not responding to it and tried many remote controllers with same frequency but no results.

If you have proven that the remote control is working (did you test it using a digital camera to see if it was sending an IR signal?) perhaps the TV's IR receiver board is faulty and needs to be replaced. (supplier example only)
Search online for Sony Bravia KDL-46HX855 IR receiver board to find suppliers that suit you best.

Yes I tried to troubleshoot it in many ways. But not working. I was wondering, before ordering for the ir receiver can we troubleshoot the ir receiver by any chance so that it can confirm if that's the problem or not?
The service manual has the IR troubleshooting flowchart on p.245 (of 305 pdf numbering or p.123 of the manual) but no actual voltage reference values or test point and there are no schematics in the manual.
The Sony part number for the board (see item #153 on p.283 (of 305 or p.142 of the manual) is FX00A2501.
If you search online for that number there are more suppliers. Not surprisingly as no doubt the board is used in other models as well
Can you guide how to get to the home menu without remote. If i get to the home menu I can setup wireless internet and can use different applications to control the tv.
use the controls on the side of the TV
The bottom button marked "home" (button #5) should get to the main menu then use the CH ↑↓ and Vol.↑↓ to navigate to where you want to be. The "input" button (button #4) is used to select the option once you navigate to it.
Here's the user manual it's all in there see p.37 for the controls and then further in the manual for how to set it up.
