Repairing rumble on Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller

These are the connections for the right-side rumble on my Xbox Elite Series 2 controller.

At first, I thought the pad had come off on the bottom connection so I scraped around it to reveal the leads. After I re-soldered the connections it briefly worked but then stopped again.

I have de-soldered and re-soldered about a dozen times and it's still not working.

Can anyone advise me? I am teaching myself and am incredibly frustrated.
