when i turn my laptop on it ask me to 'start windows normally' or 'repair' (which is recommended).when i click either of them it turns itsefl off.why and how can i fix this?

Sounds like a driver issue with your Windows install. To confirm this, vs a hardware issue, download Ubuntu linux ISO, burn it to a CD, and boot it up. If it loads, then you're looking at re-installing windows.

...or boot up with a Windows install disc just to see if the system will stay on. Sorry, I'm so use to using Ubuntu in my shop it just comes natural in comments sometimes. :)
