Headlight assembly repair, fix and save me 1500 dollars

How come you brilliant people haven't figured out how to fix a broken headlight assembly (new one 1500.00) when it needs probably 10 dollars worth of parts? I have a good headlamp assembly but 2 parts inside are broken. I will ship it to you if you want to experiment I have a 2014 buick lacrosse and the plastic and the holder broke. It's a sealed unit so you can't get at it. There has to be a way to get it apart and fix the broken pieces

@jamesdenni35469 let's see what you got going on here. Post a few good pictures of the assembly. Let's see what we can figure out. There are lots of real smart people here in the Answers section. I am sure that somebody will come up with something.
