Logitech H340 Microphone not working

My microphone suddenly stopped working. I can hear what the other person is saying through my headsets but I cannot speak through them. Why is my mic not picking any input?

@leon47253 you are not telling us where you are connectingyour headset to. If you are using this headset on a Windows computer try the solution listed by Microsoft:

1. Run Device Manager
2. Go to the area that lists your headset (probably "Sound, video and game controllers")
3. Right click your headset and select "Properties"
4. Go to the "Drivers" tab
5. Click "Roll back driver"

If "Roll back driver" is greyed out, do the following:

1. Right click your headset and select "Update Driver Software..."
2. Select "Browse my computer for driver software"
3. Select "USB Audio Device" from the list

Of course, you also want to check in Preferences that the mic level is turned up.

I went to the Update Drivers option first, because I prefer not to have old drivers if possible. It worked great, without requiring any searching or downloading, simply by using the drivers already present. I was already considering throwing away the headset, thinking it had broken by itself. But it was just some drivers inconsistency, which was solved by the re-installing of the existing driver already available in the machine. Thank you.
