My keyboard is typing on its own

I have the HP Envy 15-as020nr. When trying to use the computer types the letter w on its own even if the keys are not sticky. It is dirty underneath the keys and I've tried cleaning them to my best of ability to no avail. And I'm hoping it's just dust that needs to be clean. However I can't dismantle the keyboard to remove it completely. If cleaning doesn't work I wanted to replace it. However I'm unsure how to safely remove the keyboard without damaging any other parts.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi @marinewhisper
here's the maintenance and service guide for the laptop.

Go to p.50 to view the procedure to remove the display assembly from the laptop. When you reach p.52 during the removal process it shows how to remove the keyboard/top cover assembly.

On p.16 Item #2 you will find the part numbers for all the country specific keyboard/top cover assemblies that are compatible with the laptop

Search online for the part number only appropriate to your location/requirements, to find suppliers that suit you best.
