Just a guess but did you ask Samsung for assistance (online or live call support)? If there's a reset, a factory 'hard' reset may be provided from an tiny hole on one side of your Samsung for a supplied pin when bought new. This may be a last resort to reset Samsungs back to factory settings, erasing all data to like new condition. If you have your owner's manual, read it or go online to Samsung for free online manuals (pdf?) to download. A factory reset implies erasing all passwords.

Options

Perform a factory reset by turning off your tablet, holding the volume up and power buttons, then selecting wipe data/factory reset. This will erase all your data and settings.
