My steam deck's R thumbstick stopped reading inputs correctly. I replaced it easily and now the new thumbstick only reads up and down inputs at all angles but not left and right inputs. I've reinstalled it again to make sure I did it all right since it was fun and easy enough but got the same result. This was supposed to be an easy fix what do I do?

It might be a damaged connector. Check to make sure no pins are bent. If all is well you might want to return the product and buy a new one, if it keeps happening it might be a software bug or something like that. Hope this helps!
