Can the hinged tabs for ribbon cables on the mainboard be replaced?

I have broken a few of the flimsy hinged tabs that secure ribbon cables on Canon 5D mk1 and mk2 main boards.

Is it possible to get replacements for these tabs?

They are all slightly different in size and length or the direction they flip up.

They also mostly hinge on a microscopic piece of cylindrical plastic which breaks off easily so fitting a replacement would be tricky.

I managed once on a 5D mk1 to push a piece of thin plastic between the pins and the ribbon cable.

I currently have 2 broken hinged tabs for the rear lcd panel on a 5D mk2.

Both of these hinged tabs can be seen being flipped up here : https://youtu.be/Tmbwxc-db0o?si=Twp-ax5n...

You need to replace the flex cables for this one, there's no way to just buy the black tab. Unless you are REALLY GOOD with a hot air reflow station, you will melt the cables.

Replacing the ribbon cables will make no difference as the cables are in perfect condition, it is just the hinged tab that is missing from the connecter on the board.

@halenamacoe The issue is the connectors for the tabs are not available piecemeal; you need to change the entire connector.

Yes I thought so. As you say, the connecters would be very tricky to unsolder even if the correct connecter was available.
