Possibly because the fan grill was pushed in a little and the blades are hitting it.
Possibly because the blades are loose on the motor shaft.
Possibly because the motor bearings are worn and the whole motor shaft is loose.
Possibly because it is not the fan blades making the noise, but the motor itself.
