Touchscreen stopped working fully after a battery change.

Hello!

After I replaced an old battery on my iphone se touchscree stopped working fully. I connected and disconnected it a couple of times, and it worked once. What could be the problem? It it because I didn't disconnect a battery?

Thanks!

If the touchscreen worked once after reconnecting, it's possible that the connection between the touchscreen digitizer and the iPhone's logic board is not secure. Try carefully reconnecting the cables, ensuring they are properly seated.

I'll try it again, but it works kinda random. Been at the repair shop they say the connectors need to be replaced. Sounds absurd. But the touchscreen didn't work with the other screen? Can the motherboard be damaged somehow?
