Hey everyone I need to find a 10.4" replacement screen and digitizer that actually works?

The Problem is that the screens got broken on these tablets. The replacements had the wrong type of connections on the ribbon cable.

Is there a part number stamped on the original parts somewhere?

Most of the authorized Samsung suppliers I checked state that the part numbers posted below are for the SM-T500, SM-T505 WiFi & LTE versions

Has the tablet been dropped or gotten wet at all?

Just wondering if the problem may not be with the screen or digitizer but perhaps is on the systemboard. This is assuming that you've tried more than one replacement display assembly and they didn't work.

Here's are the Samsung OEM part numbers for the display assembly i.e. LCD screen module + digitizer

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 2020 (SM-T500 SM-T505) Display module LCD + Digitizer black GH81-19690A

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 2020 (SM-T500 SM-T505) Display module LCD + Digitizer white GH81-19689A

Search online using the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best.

Here's a link to the schematics for the tablet. This usually contains the troubleshooting flowcharts for all the major components/functions in the tablet, board layout diagrams and sometimes even an electrical parts list of the components mounted on the systemboard etc.

Unfortunately for some reason tonight I cannot download it. You may have better luck.
