Has anyone replace the battery of a Motorola Edge Plus?

I need the battery of my Motorola Edge Plus. Can the pad on top of the battery, which i assume is for wireless charging, be reused? I'm not sure if i can get it off in one piece. I've managed to locate one for $15 (https://www.esourceparts.ca/replacement-...) but i think that's too much money. Will the phone work without it? Any advice will be appreciated.

@ih8win95 yes, it should work without wireless charging. However, it is there for a reason so try to keep it intact (as much as you can. You do want to reconsider since now would be the time to change it. Once you have your phone open, do it all at the same time. No reason to have to do this over again later. The cost for that is really not to bad but I totally understand.

The battery is bloated thats why i need to replace it. If i can get it out without it blowing up in my face i'll save the charging pad and stick it on the new battery no matter what condition its in. If it works, great. If it doesn't work, oh well. I dont use wireless charging anyway.

@ih8win95 replace the battery in a well vented area since it can put out a stink if it opens up. Keep a small metal container with some sand handy. Just in case it should "vent with flame" Water and Lithium do not play together nice. Take your time, use common sense and all will be fine. Let us know how it goes.
