Device not turning on after speaker replacement

Hi guys. I opened my Macbook Pro M1 2020. I disconnected the battery connecters, as I saw in the iFixit guide. I replaced the speakers. Connected and assembled but did not turn on.

Battery was 80 percent before opening. Macbook was in sleep mode. Tried charging, changed cable/charger, tried Power Cycle and different key combination. No luck. Any help would be very grateful.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Did you wear an ESD grounding strap when doing the repair? The electrostatic discharge could also cause potential damage when doing those kinds of repairs, especially on macs.

I think you're right i tried to ground myself before disconnecting the battery. This might be the issue. What could be the possible damage?

It could be a few things on the board, it would be hard to tell specifically what it is without having it in front of me. There's a lot of small components that could be shorted, deeming it inoperable. You might have to use a multimeter and work your way from the charging port to figure out which components might be blown.

I sent it to a repair shop. They said some Sound IC is busted and charging section, they are not more clear but you know what it is.

I would check the ribbon cables and the logic board connectors. Take some good pictures of the connections and post them here so we can review things.
