How do I fix MacBook Pro 2012 stuck on loading bar after login screen

I have a MacBook Pro mid 2012 running Macos Catalina and I turned it on and it said it restarted because it had a problem then I tried to login and it got stuck on the loading bar after login

Sounds like you have it the boot drive encrypted,

Do you have a hard drive or SSD?

Hard drive and I think that is the issue in settings it said it was turning the encryption off but I have not turned it on or off as I don't know how. @beanman56 What do you suggest I do?

@macbookuse38039 - Yeah, That would do it, If can't get it to boot, You'll need to hold command + V, I'm unsure what to do next, @hellomacos - do you have any thing to add?

@macbookuse38039 - It would put it in verbose mode, Doing so, You would be able to change setting and files. I recommend waiting until @hellomacos says anything on this.
