If you have a multimeter, check the DC voltage coming off of your charging base. Mine is doing the same thing currently and I checked and what should be an output of 18v is only about 2.68v. As a test, I moved my Roomba J7 to my other Roomba's dock and it charged up and works off of that one so it is something with the dock. You can either go buy a new one aftermarket on Amazon for $50, OEM from iRobot for $75 or try to DIY and replace the failing component for probably $20 or less (that is the current option I am exploring but came here in hopes someone else had a schematic so I am not flying blind)
