kids google locked the tablet!

my kids messed around and google locked there galaxy tab s2. i dont know any info of what they typed in it. is there any way i can unlock this thing???????

Hi @patricknob63890

If the tablet's operating system wasn't updated past Android V5.1.1 i.e. original was V5.0.2, you could perform a factory reset to reset the tablet so that you can use it again.

If the operating system has been updated to V5.1 or higher then if there was a Google account associated with the tablet, if you perform the factory reset as shown above, you will need to know the Google account user name and password to enter the tablet to complete the setup procedure after the tablet has been reset. This is due to the FRP lock (factory reset protection) that has been enabled due to the reset. This is a security feature introduced with V5.1.1 in case the tablet was ever lost or stolen and was trying to be onsold by whoever had it.

Be aware that doing this will erase all your personal data and downloaded apps. It will restore the tablet to its default factory condition. It will be like when you first got it.
