Should this Mini be upgraded? And which version of OSX will it run

I am thinking of setting up this old Mac Mini to act as a home server and 2 questions come to mind.

Is it worth upgrading?

And if i do upgrade the unit, will i be able to run a version of OSX that is still supported?

Hi @johnw84195 ! This machine could easily run up to Ventura with the help of OpenCore Legacy Patcher, also, what were you thinking about upgrading? You could always try out how Ventura runs and then decide if any upgrades are needed!
