Only some keys on the keyboard works

I had a bad keyboard with broken keys and replaced it. After that the trackpad stopped working, but the keyboard worked fully. After I got the trackpad working the keyboard started to act up. Now only some keys work. I have done all the resets and stuff and it doesnt do anything. I can wiggle the flex cable and get couple of additional keys to work but they stop working as soon I screw the bottom back on. Im starting to run out of ideas and im not looking for a new keyboard change because its just too much work. I want to hear your ideas what would you try to do in this situation.

Added a slice of electrical tape on the back of the cable and it now clamps down correctly making full contact.

Sounds like the ZIF clamp is missing or the contact surfaces are dirty.

The ZIF clamp is there, and I have cleaned the contacts with alcohol

@asd290 - Then the cable is damaged and needs replacement.there is not enough space to wedge things like tape as it will be to thick to insert.
