Display issues after SSD upgrade

Hi all, since I have installed new SSD (used ifixit guide) I am experiencing issues with the display. On startup from cold I am usualy seeing the backlight turning on, then I can hear startup sounds (no startup logo showing) and then I can hear sounds when I press buttons - the display still not working correctly and only backlight showing and it takes some time before the display finally starts to work normally. Once the display goes on I can use my steamdeck like before the ssd upgrade, no issues observed. When I restart the Steamdeck I dont have that many issues however some display ‘artifacts’ are showing - see 0:11 , 0:19 and then 0:26 from the attached video. What could be the issue here? I have not tried swapping the ssd back to the original one yet. I have tried some troubleshooting steps (hard reset, booting via BIOS) but same old.

The attached video is cropped a bit - the restart action took almost 50 seconds in total.

Answer this question I have this problem too

A potentially important addition - at first I have not plugged the battery connector fully and battery was charging till 54%. But after fixing this battery charges till 100 and battery health also shows as 100 so I hope this had no negative consequences. I dont remember if i had this issue when battery connector was partially plugged as charging issue took all my focus.

looks like a poor connection to me - maybe have slightly moved some ribbon cable during an SSD upgrade - disassemble and check everything once again if possible

Thanks, I have quickly checked display cable but it feels stable to me. I will continue tomorrow when I have some more time. Could the charging issue I have just added in the comments contribute negatively at all?
