Moisture in the port not going away
The notification that there is moisture in the charging port won't go away no matter what I do

Check that there is no pocket-lint or other debris in the port. Something might be shorting the pins of the port.
You can also try cleaning the port with a toothbrush with some rubbing alcohol on it.
And/or blow on it with some compressed/canned air.
Also, Look into the port with a magnifyer or use phone camera and zoom in, to see if any of the small pins look out of place.

@jevaughnhenry if cleaning and further drying do not clear up the error, consider a failed sensor on the charging board. Replacing it should resolve this issue. Use something like thios video to replace it. The board is available at many online stores. Just make sure you purchase the board for the right version SM-G990U, SM-G990U1, SM-G990W
While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same problem as you do.
