I/O Board Non-functioning

How can I get a replacement I/O board for this device? What is the code?

Have you contacted Dell? You can look up your device on Dell.com. You can see all the parts installed, software installed, etc. Go to Dell support and enter you device number

Good morning,

That's quite an unfortunate situation. Firstly, have you diagnosed exactly what is wrong with your I/O board?

E.G:

  • Has one of your USb-C ports failed?
  • Has the SD card reader gone kapoof?
  • Have they all just spontaneously died?

Also if you still have the infamous dell warranty, you may be able to get a replacement for this I/O board through Dell, otherwise you are kind of out of luck simply because they don't sell the I/O board directly through OEM. Based on the fact that the board seems identical to 9710, i recommend going to a site like eBay to look up a board for 9710 or 9720.
