I was using my mac when the screen glitched and random colored pixels in square pattern appeared and then the computer crash and rebooted just for it to happen again
Now it wont boot up and the only sign of activity is the fan reving every other minute

Hello there,
I had the the same issue with older iMac. The issue was a faulty graphic card. I replaced mine with working second hand and got it working perfectly fine. I am not sure if the case will be the same with you but it is some direction point. If you have some friend with the same model to slap the cards just to test and confirm if this is the problem.

Hi thank you for the reply i dont really know how to replace the graphics card for the imac so it seems like ill have to bring it into the store
