Touch screen not working after attempting screen replacement.

Hello, I’m in the final stage of replacing my Tab A 10.1 screen and powered it on after connecting the ribbons and before gluing down the glass to ensure everything checks out ok. The tablet powered on, however the screen appears magnified and the touchscreen function doesn’t work. I checked that all the ribbons are snapped in place and haven’t glued it back together. I tried a hard shut off twice and removed any film from the screen and that didn’t fix the issue. I didn’t have the problem prior to changing the screen. I replaced it because the screen was cracked. Please advise what I did wrong.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Did you buy just the replacement glass or the whole frame assembly which includes a new digitizer? You mentioned gluing it back together, which you only do when replacing the glass itself. I repaired an 8" tablet a few weeks ago using this kit from ebay - https://www.ebay.com/itm/353195276454 - as you see all you need do with this is transfer the battery and circuit boards over. Maybe that would be an option for you still? Also I always try to find a YouTube video and follow along, even though I've done many phones etc, there's always that one little step I've overlooked!

I purchased the replacement glass from Amazon Screen Replacement for Samsung... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08TJ29VGP?ref... and followed this YouTube video https://youtu.be/w6DE8IoGqkU?si=ZXY6YN4c... Other than my broken screen, the tablet was work properly prior to the glass replacement.
