White screen fix after connection to the laptop!?

Okay so I have been working on this for a while now and today when I connected my phone to the laptop to extract some data, my phone's screen just fixed itself from whole white screen. For the past few days the screen just went blank white and the repair stores said different solution's, one said the screen needs to be replaced, the other one said there might be some water damage to the motherboard; but I'm having my doubts about this as if there was such problems then it couldn't have been solved when I plugged it in the laptop. When I removed my type C cable from the laptop the screen again went to the white screen state.

Please help me with this, I think it's a simple fix.
