Hello.

The sPen of Samsung Galaxy Note series can be stored inside the device.

This sometimes causes sPen to get stuck inside the storage space.

In this case, the first method that can be tried without damaging the outside and inside of the device is using physics.

1. Press the pop-up button used to remove the sPen under normal conditions so that the handle used to remove the sPen pops out.

2. In case the device slides off your hand, go to places where there is little possibility of damage to the device due to cushioning, such as beds or couch.

3. Lift the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra device with the charging port facing down.

4. Hit the side where the speaker grill is located, not the sPen storage, repeatedly on the palm. (This action uses 'inertia' to allow sPen stuck inside the reservoir to pop out.)

At this time, don't hit hard enough to cause injuries such as broken hand bones!

If this does not remove the sPen, try attaching and pulling a strong adhesive tape such as box tape to the end of the sPen.

If this doesn't work either, I don't think there's any other way to try to open the back panel and push the pen stuck in the sPen storage out of the hole by referring to Samsung Electronics' AS center visit or some of the iFixit repair guides.

I hope my reply works and help you to save money and time:)

Have a nice day!

thank you for detailed answer, i apply but it's not working. after multiple time hit the phone in my hand. the back of the phone open (maybe after 3 years the glue not strong anymore), i open spen chamber without open any scews. use ring tweeze push from the head of the pen but it stuck like a heavy rock. wd40 not work too. don't know what force really strong keep it inside.

Hmm… I think it's in a worse condition than I thought. Therefore, I think it would be better to visit Samsung's official service center if there is such a problem.

I successfully retrieved my s-pen from tmy Samsung S23 Ultra. To minimize the impact, I placed a towel on the table and tapped my phone on it. This helped dislodge the pen. I then tapped the phone again to remove any remaining sand or debris. The spring on the pen was stuck, so I gently tapped the pen until it clicked again. Now, the s-pen is fully functional. I hope this information proves helpful to someone in the future.
