You do have to remove quite a bit of parts the logic board, dvd drive, and speaker. It can be challenging but I found a video doing a keyboard replacement and it looks like it is challenging. Also if you have done laptop repairs before it might be easier. Also it helps with having a dedicated work space so you can organize all of the screws. Hi there,

Although your desire to help is very much appreciated and welcomed, I do have to point out that you really didn't address the question that was asked, which was whether or not the MacBook Pro keyboard will work for a standard 2012 MacBook, specifically the one with the UK layout.

Unfortunately I have no idea either, but hopefully someone who does know will jump in and help out.
