RAM upgrade of 3505 with Ryzen 3 AMD Ryzen 3 3250U with Radeon Graphic

  1. What is the maximum RAM possible on this laptop? (There are conflicting information available online: 8x2 and 16x2 modules.)
  2. What is the max. RAM clock speed supported? The original RAM of 4GB (1Rx16 PC4-3200AA-SC0-11 had 3200MHz on its label)
  3. I have purchased 2x8GB RAM labelled as 3200Mhz and got it installed through a service engineer. But the BIOS shows the speed of RAM as 2400Mhz. Is there something fishy here?

@saha15717 your board should support 32GB of RAM in two slots (16x2). As for your RAM speed, your computer can use 2400MHz, 2666MHz and 3200MHz memory, but they will all run at the CPU's memory bus speed of 2400MHz. Nothing fishy, just a limitation of your CPU.
