makayla, there are plenty of answers on here for the same problem:) Since I am not sure what you have tried thus far, here is a copy of my answer to this question: "there are a few ways that you can try. Some will delete that data on the drive (which in your case might be a good thing). Try this : Plug the iPod into computer.Hold down the power button for about 5 seconds until you see the "slide to power off button". Slide the red button.Immediately hold down both power and home buttons until you see the apple logo. When you see the apple logo, release the power button, but continue to hold down the menu button until you see a picture of a USB cable with an arrow and iTunes on your iPod.Then restore the iPod with iTunes. If you are using Windows :-) here is a copy of my answer to a very similar question "there is a way to erase the password but I am not sure if this would work when you are already disabled. I guess you can always try and hope you have a windows computer :-) anyhow you plug in your iPod. Open My Computer (or Computer for Vista). Click on Folder options and enable to view hidden files. Next go to iPod_control and click on the folder named Device. If your iPod is locked, there will be a file _locked . Rename the file to _unlocked. Remove your iPod and it will be cleared, again not sure if it works for a disabled one. Also check what Apple has to say about that on here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 You can also try to use recboot which possibly gets your device into recovery mode." Or simply put it into DFU mode, then plug it in, hold down the lock and home button until it shuts off. wait for 5 seconds and let go of the lock button. you iPod should now get recognized as being in recovery mode. Do one thing at a time and try all the different ways. Do not get mixed up, since that can get confusing. Hope this helps, good luck.
