PlayStation 5 stuck on Home Screen after exiting game, won’t power off

I exited the game I was playing to restart it, and to check my internet connection when, it froze on the Home Screen. I tried just turning off, when it made three beeping sounds. I’m not sure how to proceed beyond this point.
