How to improve quality of speaker output?

I just found my old iDog, still works pretty well given how old it is— with a current iPhone to aux cable I can play music from my phone on it. Is there any way I can clean the system to make the speaker output sound better? It’s just a bit grainy.

You should clean out the speakers with a brush and ensure that nothing gets stuck inside again. If using headphones, first check if the headphones are broken; if not, clean out the headphone jack.
