My remote turns on tv and speakers but not the firestick. When I unplug and plug in the firestick it turns on. The remote then controls the firestick.
However, after turning off, it once again doesn’t turn on the firestick and I have to unplug and plug it back in to turn on.
Help?

I had a similar problem. Please check that you have selected the correct port on the TV via AV selection button on your TV remote. Also, when inside the Amazon TV stick settings check for firmware updates. If it continues playing up, ask Amazon to swap it.
