Power button dented in

Recently I dropped my phone right on the power button. Now it is dented right in the middle and no longer presses. The phone works as long as it does not die.i just need a repair guide for how to replace the button as the rest of the phone is perfect. I love this phone and would love to restore its functionality. Thank you

Hello there,

You can check some of the teardown videos in internet there are some with high quality view which can help you out with the replacement. Yes they are not replacing the power button but you will see that there is 1 metal shield holding the flex cable which the screws needs to be removed before taking out.

You can order a new flex cable with the shield for the buttons for about 5-15$ for the model.

You can do it!

Good Luck!
