Go to control panel-type mouse in top right corner-go to "change mouse settings"-go to hardware and then to properties-press change "settings"-go to driver and press "rollback driver". After that repeat the same process but instead going to "rollback driver" go to update the driver. If that does not fix it then mousepad should be fixed.

PLEASE NOTE THAT AFTER YOU ROLLBACK DRIVERS YOU NEED MOUSE TO USE PC!!!

@amoghpanjwani You can try to disconnect and reconnect the mousepad, but only if you are sure you can do it

It's the grounding. You need to press down the trackpad. Then you'll be fine for a while (a few days), then you can do it again. You can also add a wire, tape it or solder it and attach it to a screw in order to make another ground connection. There is a video there. You can also change the keyboard assembly.
