Please confirm that the laptop is a HP Notebook 255 G8 model as I think that you selected the HP product number? The model number is located on the information label on the bottom of the laptop. This is only to ensure that if the problem turns out to be a faulty WLAN (WiFi) module that the correct part number for a replacement module can be provided.
