I cracked my screen, and now half of it is black but still responsive

so, my screen was cracked and I found it to have part of the screen being black but still responsive. What can i do to fix this?

@susdy So if the screen is still responsive to touch, the touch layer, also known as a digitizer, is fine but the LCD (the part which shows pictures) has cracked. The good news is that for the iPad 8, the LCD and digitizer are separate. You can replace the LCD while leaving the digitizer layer alone, which will save you some money. You can refer to the iFixit guide here if you are able to repair it yourself, if not, repairing it at a shop will cost you around $100-150 USD. Remember to emphasize that the touch layer is working fine and insist on an LCD-replacement only if you go this route.
