AMD stock fan unable to spin on its own.

My AMD stock CPU fan has been having issues starting on its own. Moves a few mm on its own, kind of struggling to start spinning. Really wasn't thinking acted more in panic, opened panel and slight finger push was all it needed. I did check to insure cabling was all properly connected. Advice on how to proceed forward.

Answer this question I have this problem too

@pz781n usually this may happen if the CPU fan is in the wrong mode. In the Bios, there should be an option for 3 pin or PWM for the CPU fan. You can look at the fan connector on the fan cable, if it has 4 pins it needs PWM mode and if it has 3 it needs 3 pin mode.

Okay amd bios I have PWM and DC. I’m switch to PWM since I believe it has 4 pins. It was on auto. I’m shut down for a bit and then restart and see if that does it after few goes.
