Hi Ashley,

The good news here is yes, you can indeed fix your phone yourself! Thanks to people who have gone before and figured out how to do any given repair, they've made it possible for the rest of us to follow their instructions to do our own phone repairs.

I'm sorry to say that iFixit doesn't have the particular guide you need for your phone, but fortunately there are several other companies and groups who share iFixit's belief that everyone should be able to repair their own devices. In this case there's a Spanish site called Nobody Calls Me Chicken (Nadie Me Llama Gallina in the original Spanish) that has a guide you can use. If you open it with the Chrome browser, its automatic translation will kick in and provide a very usable guide for those of us who don't happen to speak Spanish. Here's the one you want for your phone.

Manuals / Samsung Galaxy A02s / Full screen

Your phone is very similar to most Samsung phones in that the screen is integrated with the frame that holds the rest of the parts of the phone so you'll essentially be gutting your phone and moving everything over to a new chassis and screen. Fortunately Samsung makes that job a hundred times easier than Apple for that same job, so it's actually not too bad.

Check around for a screen that suits your budget and availability needs; I usually start with places like Amazon, eBay and AliExpress depending on how soon I need it, the product quality and cost. Here are a couple of examples that came up on my cursory search; there are several other choices available as well.

For Samsung Galaxy A02S SM-A025G/DSN Display Screen Touch Lcd Digitizer Assembly Frame Replacement - AliExpress

Amazon.com: ZTOOYO For Samsung A02s Screen Replacement kit for Samsung Galaxy A02s LCD Display A025a A025u s124dl Touch Screen Digitizer Assembly with Tools 6.5 inch (Black with Frame) : Cell Phones & Accessories

Note that you can get the screen with or without the frame; you may save a couple of bucks getting it without, but most of the instructions you'll find don't describe replacing the screen by itself but you may be able to find a YouTube video that does.

Other than the tools, you also want to get a sheet of precut adhesive to glue the rear cover back on once you're done. Be sure and test to make sure everything works before you resecure the back though.

@ashleymill39621 yes you can! Use something like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMiohne1... as your guide. Watch it a couple of times (that music is terrible:-) to familiarize yourself with it a bit more. If you prefer written guides you can use the one from here

Replacement screens are available at many places. Just do an online search and select a vendor that appeals to you. If you need any help at any time, just post a couple of pictures with your question of where you are stuck and leave a comment. That way we know you need help. Adding images to an existing question I have no doubt that YOU GOT THIS!

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same problem as you do. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.
