Replaced Screen with iFixit OLED

Black pictures are a weird blotchiness to them and sometimes a weird fading when next to lighter colors

Best examples of what I’m working with currently. The old screen never did anything like this even up to when I changed it because of a crack. Normally would have more defined lines and darker blacks.

Hi Cameron,

Can you post pictures of what you're seeing?

I assume your old screen wasn't doing that - is it still functional enough to check and see if it's doing the same thing the new screen is?

Once we get the problem tracked down, if it turns out to be the new screen you shouldn't have any trouble getting a replacement; iFixit screens have a lifetime warranty.

@camerong26741 I have to confess I don't know what to make of that. Probably time to get in touch with the iFixit Store personnel to see what they say about it. You can email them at support@ifixit.com and I'll tag @amber here who's the community manager.
